How soon will my site be set up and ready to use?

Your site will be completely set up and ready to use within 12 hours after you complete our sign-up form. A welcoming email will be sent to the site owner containing all of the necessary information to get started.

Are there any setup charges?

No. InterBax does not charge a setup fee for any of our hosting plans.

Will InterBax register a domain name for me?

Yes. InterBax will gladly register a domain name for you. See our domain page for more information.

What is Shared Virtual Hosting?

Shared Virtual Hosting is where multiple web sites (www.anyname.com) are served off the same physical server. This saves each customer from purchasing his/her own expensive server, performing the setup and providing the appropriate environment.

Do you have Microsoft FrontPage extensions?

Yes, Microsoft Frontpage extensions are available with all of our hosting plans. You will need to request that the extensions be installed by contacting support@interbax.net.

What domain names do you support?

InterBax supports all domains, including foreign domains.

Can we add services as we grow and need them?

You may grow at whatever pace you like. Please visit our extra feature page for options and pricing. All options can be added or removed at any time.

Do you provide backup processing?

Yes, we backup the data on our servers each night and guarantee this service to each of our customers. Please see our SLA for more information.

Can I park another domain name on my account's primary domain?

Yes, InterBax allows parking of up to 10 domains onto your account's primary domain. However, we do not allow parked domains onto directories or subdomains within your account.

Will InterBax change my Domain Name Server (DNS) settings for me?

Every domain name registrar requires a username and password to access its management area. InterBax will make your Domain Name Server changes if you provide us with your username and password for the registrar that the domain is registered with. Simply email support@interbax.net with your request.

What is your server environment?

Our servers are dual Intel Pentium IIIs with high-speed SCSI drives. The operating system is Red Hat Linux running Apache Web Server. This is a fairly typical web server setup.

Does InterBax offer any money back guarantee?

Yes. Every hosting plan comes with a 30-day money-back guarantee. Please be aware that the cost for domain name registration is non refundable.

Where are the InterBax servers located?

InterBax's servers are located in our Network Operations Center (NOC) in Greenwood Village, Colorado. There they are monitored 24x7x365, in a data center environment that provides security, backup power, and direct access to the internet backbones.

Does InterBax allow adult, warez or other illicit sites or content?

This type of content is not allowed within our server environment. Please read our Terms of Service for more information.

Can I have unlimited bandwidth?

No. InterBax does not offer packages with unlimited bandwidth primarily because there is no such thing. Anyone who promises that is not telling the truth. Somewhere in their terms and conditions are probably some words referring to "excessive use of resources," and in effect these place some arbitrary limit on your bandwidth. InterBax sets limits to both protect you and to provide you with a reliable service.

How do I move my current site to InterBax?

Every situation is different, but generally, there are 5 basic steps in moving your site from your current hosting company to InterBax. The following steps are recommended to minimize your site's downtime.

1) Select and order your hosting package from InterBax.
2) Move the contents of your current site to your new site. Set up email accounts, forwarders, autoresponders, etc.
3) Thoroughly test your site to ensure that it is working properly.
4) Change the name servers for your domain at the registrar where your domain is registered. Your new name server information will be provided to you. In 24 to 48 hours, your changes should start to take effect. It may take several days for all DNS servers to be updated.
5) Once all DNS servers are updated, you can safely cancel your old hosting account.

Does InterBax offer 7 x 24 support?

Yes, InterBax offers email support 24 hours a day seven days a week. Phone support is also provided for our webmaster package customers during regular business hours. InterBax's business hours are Monday through Friday, 8am - 5pm Mountain Time.
